We have an exciting new position for a Head of Sales and Business Development within IMS.

We are looking for a talented and experienced leader to lead and manage the sales teams to exceed targets across the estate agency, lettings and mortgage businesses.

Responsibilities for the role of Head of Sales and Business Development:

  • Responsible for the sales teams, supporting, coaching and managing them to exceed their targets within their chosen areas
  • Working with the Managing director to build effective targeting and monitoring processes
  • Take lead in analysing, building and delivering solutions based on management information within the business
  • Contribute towards functional strategy development, planning and implementation process to provide input from a professional viewpoint
  • Take ownership of key projects that directly impact your area of responsibility
  • Analyse and identify business needs and opportunities and make recommendations regarding potential courses of action within area of expertise
  • Understand the impact and implications of personal and professional action across the business to optimise contribution
  • Ensure continuing personal and functional credibility within the business by identifying opportunities to maintain, improve and broaden expertise
  • Plan and organise own workload to ensure personal and team objectives and deadlines are met
  • Ability to organise and build content for tradeshows and corporate events
  • Responsible for bringing in new business

Experience required for the role of Head of Intermediary Sales

  • A proven track record for new business generation within property market
  • The ability to communicate at all levels
  • An excellent manner coupled with the skill to reach decision makers and the ability to create and conduct professional presentations, and produces excellent written communication
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines in conjunction with personal and business goals
  • Knowledge of the intermediary mortgage market would be desirable
  • Proven leadership skills

Salary: Confirmed on application but highly competitive

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
