Michelle Niziol | IMS Property Group, Founder
I qualified as a mortgage broker in 2005 and founded my own business, IMS Independent Mortgage Solutions in 2008. A few years later, I gained Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management and level 3 technical award in the sale of residential property, I then opened up the estate agency and lettings business due to the high demand from our existing client base to provide them with a comprehensive and complete service for all of their property needs.
I am now able to provide clients with a completely bespoke property service, I specialise now in property buying for investment portfolios.
I am a feature article writer for consumer publication ‘What Mortgage’ and regular commentator for The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, Financial Times, The Guardian, The Oxford Mail and lots of industry magazines.
In June 2017 I took on the role of Vice President of ARLA http://www.arla.co.uk/ this is a 3 year term, in the 3rd year I will become the President, I am looking forward to making a difference in the lettings industry, an industry I have always been so passionate about.
BBC One | The Apprentice
After wanting to appear on the show for a number of years, I was lucky enough to be selected as a candidate for Series 12 of The Apprentice in 2016.
It was a truly amazing and enlightening experience. It was a lot tougher than even I was expecting, but I learned so much from Lord Sugar and the rest of the candidates that I have taken with me and can put to use in my day job.
I would recommend anyone thinking about applying to just do it. You don’t get many opportunities like it and it has opened a lot of doors for me, despite not being the winner.
