The clients wanted to make significant changes to the property, removing three internal walls to create an open plan kitchen and dining room. The property’s basement was converted to a cinema room and gym and an extension was added to create a dynamic space for entertaining with bi-fold doors to the patio and landscaped half acre garden. To complete the property, a private drive with electric gates and a top security system was installed.
The Farmhouse project took 12 months to complete. The property was purchased for £1,000,000, with a budget of £250,000 for the renovation, alterations and interior design. Although this was not an investment property the clients were delighted that it was valued on completion at £1,500,000.
