Michelle founded IMS in 2008 after being a mortgage broker for many years, her passion to provide her customers with a completely exceptional service led her to become one of the UK’s most popular mortgage brokers, winning top UK broker by Barclays bank.
Her passion for property led her to build her own successful property portfolio, this then drove her to want to build portfolios for customers and provide a completely bespoke property solution.
Michelle has built her group of companies to provide any possible property service, from lettings to estate agency to property refurbishment, development and finance.
Michelle now specialises in providing bespoke solutions for investment clients, she purchases investment properties by providing a property search package, then develops the properties and through her lettings company, provides the most lucrative letting solution. As a celebrity panellist on SKY TV’s Property Question Time and Property Elevator, as well as host of Michelle’s Property Corner, Niziol Bespoke Property Management and Michelle Means Business, Michelle can be regularly seen providing insight on the most current and relevant property issues facing the UK.
In June 2017 she took on the role of Vice President of ARLA http://www.arla.co.uk/ and became a member of the Propertymark board. She was also the headline keynote speaker at ‘Growing Your Own Business’ at the NEC in Birmingham, speaking about how to become a successful business entrepreneur.
As a mother to two young children whilst running five limited companies, she champions women in business, and regularly speaks at events, giving keynote addresses and motivational speeches at some of the country’s most prestigious events, focusing on entrepreneurship and women in business.

After wanting to appear on the show for a number of years, Michelle was lucky enough to be selected as a candidate for Series 12 of The Apprentice in 2016.
It was a truly amazing and enlightening experience. It was a lot tougher than even she was expecting, but she learnt so much from Lord Sugar and the rest of the candidates and has used the experience to grow the IMS Property Group.
